Thank you for considering Columbia Basin Pediatrics for the medical care of your child. We take great pride in the services we provide to our families. We try to go that extra mile to make sure our patients and families are happy and well taken care of. If you have questions that have not been address in the information on our website please feel free to give us a call. We will be happy to schedule a meet and greet with one of our providers, prior to the birth of your child, to introduce ourselves and go over the important steps, and appointments needed after giving birth.
If choosing Columbia Basin Pediatrics as your baby’s pediatrician, please notify the hospital after giving birth. This will ensure the delivery notes and discharge summary are faxed to our office prior to the child’s first appointment. If a Post-Partum visit is not scheduled at the Post-Partum clinic we will need to see the baby for their initial checkup 48 hours after discharge. We will then see your baby at 1 week of age; this will be for their first Well-Baby exam. If at any time you have any concerns in between these appointments please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
If choosing circumcision for your child, please note that this is an elective procedure and is not always covered by insurance. Dr. Khurana prefers to perform these procedures between 1-2 weeks of age. This is done in the office with local anesthetic, in a very gentle and humane manner. The fee for circumcision is collected at the time of the procedure; if insurance covers any of this procedure a refund will be given.
